First steps: where to start

There is a lot in the game, and the first day can be overwhelming. That is why a newcomer’s main page has “First steps” — nine tasks that introduce the main mechanics one by one. Each pays coins, XP and crafting materials.

Where the tasks are

The “First steps” panel sits on your fighter’s main page, under the level card. Tasks come in the order that is handy to do them. A finished one lights up — press “Claim” and the reward lands on your account at once.

The “Go” button next to an unfinished task takes you where it is done: the streets, the shop, a side job, the arena or crews.

Nine tasks

About 1,200 coins, 660 XP and a set of materials for your first crafts in all. Once all nine rewards are claimed, the panel goes away.

  • Fight your first fight — +50 coins, +30 XP, 3 thread
  • Buy your first item in the shop — +60 coins, +40 XP, 2 leather
  • Spend the stat points of a new level — +80 coins, +40 XP, 2 fabric
  • Win 3 fights — +100 coins, +60 XP, 3 meat
  • Finish a side job — +100 coins, +60 XP, 3 paper
  • Win a 3v3 fight — +150 coins, +80 XP, 2 metal
  • Take part in a 10v10 stand battle — +150 coins, +100 XP, 3 dye
  • Join a crew or found your own — +200 coins, +100 XP, 2 gems
  • Reach level 5 — +300 coins, +150 XP, 3 herbs

The first fight — on the streets

The streets are Fan City’s districts with bot opponents for your level. Market Street is a good start: each opponent has a short description behind the “?” mark, a level, an energy cost and a reward multiplier.

Streets: districts on the left, the district’s opponents in the centre, side jobs and possible rewards on the right.

Side jobs — coins without a fight

A side job is a short shift of 5–90 minutes: handing out a fanzine, a shift in the fan shop, at the stadium. You can’t fight while on shift, but coins, XP and materials come in.

Side jobs are grouped by district; each has a duration, pay and materials.

What next

After “First steps” you will have a crew, a clear stat build and your first gear. Then comes the best part — the match days of your real club. That has its own guide.
