Terrace culture and Terrace Wars
Football is not just 22 players on the pitch. It is songs on the terraces, banners, huge tifos, fan groups and derbies a whole city lives for. Terrace Wars is built around that culture.
Chants
Terrace songs are as old as football itself: on English terraces fans stood and sang through the whole match, borrowing tunes from popular songs. A good chant is the voice of a club — people know it from the first notes.
In the game a chant is the most common match-day action: 5 energy, a 20-second cooldown, and every chant brings points to your stand.
Banners and tifos
Banners with mottos and group names hang on the stands for decades. A tifo is a huge picture across a whole section that fans prepare for weeks and unfurl as the teams walk out.
In Terrace Wars a banner and a tifo are the biggest match-day contributions. You can make your own design with text: once a moderator approves it, it gives +10% points and hangs on the match’s tifo wall. And the club’s shared Tifo project is built by all fans together.

Crews and districts
Fan groups — crews — bring together a club’s most loyal supporters. In the game a crew is a shared treasury, a base with buildings, its own chat and wars for Fan City’s districts. The game does not approve of real-life violence: every clash stays inside the game.

Derbies
A derby is the biggest match of the season for any fan. In the game derby days give ×1.25 points and rewards to both stands, and they draw the most players.
